All business establishments registered in the Philippines are required to renew their local business permits with the local government unit which has jurisdiction over the place of office. The renewal of business permit shall be made within January 1 to 20 of each year.

Failure to renew business permit within the prescribed period may subject the establishment to: i.) payment of 25% surcharge on renewal fees with an additional 2% interest per month of delay; and/or ii.) suspension of business operation, at the discretion of the local government unit concerned.
